T-System, Inc., the leading U.S. provider
of emergency department charting systems, today announced the release
of two new paper charting systems for emergency department nurses
and primary care physicians. These new solutions represent an expansion
of the company's offerings from its traditional focus on emergency
physician documentation.
Company executives point to market demand as the impetus for the new system rollouts.
T-System's President, Woodrow Gandy, M.D., FACEP, says requests for these services began on the day of the first physician system implementation. "Demand for additional
T-System services was obvious and we quickly realized how easily
T-System's most important elements translated to nursing and primary care."
As with the emergency physician documentation system, the systems for emergency nursing and primary care are based on complaint specific templates and services include customization, implementation, training and support provided by
T-System consultants. Other similarities include shelving options for enhanced template storage and selection, and documentation review services designed to support quality template usage after implementation.
The new offerings aim to capitalize on
T-System's brand recognition. "We're proud of our reputation as documentation solution providers," says Gandy. "Those who hear about additions to
T-System services know to expect valuable tools and support based on solid content and methodology - elements that can really enhance their medical practice."
Implementations of
T-System for Nurses and
T-System for Primary Care are already set for more than 15 sites. New licenses arrive daily, and the company is adding staff to accommodate new clients. "It's an exciting time," says Gandy. "Busy, and exciting."
