T-System Technologies, Ltd. announced
today that physicians and nurses in the emergency department at
Fletcher Allen Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Vermont are now using T-SystmEV EDIS for charting and tracking.
"
T-SystemEV is a very well developed EDIS," said Ruth Uphold, MD, Medical Director of Fletcher Allen's 47,000 visit emergency department. "We anticipated a small overlap between dictation and
T-SystemEV use, but compliance is already very close to 100%." Transition to
T-SystemEV was smooth according to Dr. Uphold, who attributed the successful implementation in part to the combined efforts of
T-System's Deployment team and the IT staff at her facility. "Commitment to this project by everyone involved has been key," she said. Dr Uphold added, "Training to address the learning curve has been excellent. Between the self-paced training CD and the on-site support for our go-live day, we're very pleased with
T-System's service."
T-SystemEV implementation is also planned for Fletcher Allen Walk-In Care Center in March of 2004.
