T-System Technologies, Ltd. (TTL) and
Denton Regional Medical
Center (DRMC) announced today that a major Pilot Study of TTL's
flagship Emergency Department Information System,
T-SystemEV, has
been successful. The decision, after a six-month period of use by
physicians and nurses at the North Texas facility, is expected to
give rise to further implementations at other hospitals.
The E.D. physician and nurse leadership, medical staff, and in-house nursing staff voted unanimously that
T-SystemEV enhanced their ability to provide quality care. "This system is pure genius. It's light years ahead of other available E.D. Information Systems" said Dr. Randy Park, DRMC Emergency Department Medical Director. Susan Conn, RN, Administrative Director Clinics / Emergency Services, added "T-SystemEV has made a big difference for us. It's easy to get information into the system, so we have a more legible and complete clinical record. It's also made it much easier to find charts for audits and other issues."
Tom Ward, MD,
T-System Chief Medical Officer, lauded the efforts of the emergency department staff. "The E.D. staff demonstrated great leadership and ability to manage change, which made the project a success. They really deserve the credit." Suzy Wier,
T-System Senior Vice President, emphasized
T-System's objective to provide more than a software application. "We are committed to providing insight and solutions to our clients, as we have done with our paper systems for over 7 years."
