T-System Participates in the 2007 ENA Leadership Challenge and HIMSS Annual Conferences

T-System Participates in the 2007 ENA Leadership Challenge and HIMSS Annual Conferences

Dallas, Texas:  April 10, 2007

T-System, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of emergency department (ED) clinical documentation solutions recently exhibited at two of the industry’s leading annual meetings: the 2007 Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Leadership Conference, held in Boston, Feb. 22 – 25, and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exhibition, in New Orleans Feb. 25 – March 1.

Held every spring, the ENA Leadership Conference is an opportunity for the leaders in emergency department nursing to advance their careers and learn of ways to improve their practice. This year ENA drew over 1,000 nurse attendees and more than 100 exhibiting companies. With over 500 U.S. hospitals using The T System® for Nurses, this conference is an essential opportunity for T-System to interact with nurse decision-makers.

T-System was pleased to sponsor ENA’s maps and advertise in the program book. Demonstrations were offered of The T SystemEV®, The T System for Nurses as well as T-System Solutions for Document Management and Order Communication.

In addition to the solution demonstrations, T-System gave interested attendees an overview of how JCAHO guidelines are included in the charting system for nurses. “Given the indisputable importance of Core Measures and quality reporting, we produced an educational piece that shows how easily JCAHO requirements can be documented with the T System for Nurses. This is another example of how our products continually evolve, providing solutions to our customer’s documentation challenges,” said Suzy Wier, T-System Chief Nursing Officer.

After ENA, T-System exhibited at HIMSS in New Orleans. The Annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition offers a variety of healthcare professionals the chance to find intelligent solutions to their challenges with information and workflow management. The 2007 HIMSS conference offered a unique blend of over 24,000 attendees related to the healthcare IT industry, including executives, industry specialists, IS technical staff, physicians, nurses, consultants, attorneys, financial advisors, technology vendors, academicians, management engineers and students. Attendees also participated in pre-conference workshops and educational sessions, met with industry newsmakers, viewed the latest technologies in over 600 exhibits and earned continuing education credit and certification.

“T-System works hard to offer our clients solid, technology-based solutions with in-depth clinical content, including the upcoming T SystemEV 2.6. HIMSS is an opportunity to not only highlight our products to a key audience segment, but it also enables us to better understand where the industry is headed, what our clients need to achieve optimal results and how we can help them exceed their goals,” said Mike Garzione, T-System Chief Technology Officer and 2007 HIMSS Conference attendee.

T-System exhibits its solutions at over 30 conferences a year. To learn more, please go to http://www.tsystem.com/Company-Info/events-details.asp
