Flu Alert (Seasonal / novel H1N1)

In response to the upcoming flu season and the continued spread of the novel H1N1 flu outbreak, T-System has updated the clinician paper charting templates to reflect the latest CDC guidelines on both seasonal flu and novel H1N1 flu. Flu T-Sheets® are being provided–free of charge–to any clinician or healthcare organization, upon request.

  • There is NO CHARGE for these templates. They are being made available to ALL healthcare providers in the interest of public health and safety.
  • Charts are available for:
    • Emergency Department – Physician, Nurse and Order Set
    • Emergency Department Pediatric – Physician, Nurse and Order Set
    • Primary Care
    • Urgent Care
  • Charts incorporate the latest CDC guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of H1N1 Flu. T-System will monitor the CDC diagnostic and treatment protocols and update the tools as needed. Due to the dynamic and time sensitive nature of the Flu T-sheets, the tools should be used as is. Site specific customizations are not available at this time.
  • The use of any or all of these tools is completely at the discretion of your facility or practice.
  • The Flu T-Sheets are point-of-care tools to support consistent documentation, diagnosis and treatment during the fall 2009 and spring 2010 Flu season As always, the tools are not intended to replace clinical judgment.

As mentioned, these charts are based on the most current protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We anticipate further updates to the templates throughout the flu season. Please visit this page frequently to ensure you have the latest version.

You need not be a customer of T-System to utilize these tools. The Flu T-Sheets are being provided as a free service to all healthcare providers and are appropriate for use by hospitals and their emergency departments, urgent care facilities and primary care practices.
